In online marketing a landing page, sometimes known as a "lead capture page" or a "lander", is a single web page that appears in response to clicking on an advertisement. The landing page will usually display directed sales copy that is a logical extension of the advertisement or link.

Create a landing page

  1. Select the Content tab under PUBLITRAC’s top menu bar
  2. Select Landing page tab.
  3. Click on Add on the right of the page
     

Set up information on the landing page.

1. Enter the name of the new landing page. (All fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory).
2. You can add a description in order to provide more information on your landing page.
3. Select a template for your page. You can choose from existing templates or you can select None. To incorporate a new template, you can refer to the article add a template in PUBLITRAC.
4. A preview window will give you an overview of the page.
5. Click on Next at the bottom right.



Designing a landing page

 
1. Enter the title of the landing page.
2. Add multiple metadata keywords separated by commas.
3. Add a metadata description regarding the landing page. For SEO purposes, we suggest you fill in this section.
4. It is also possible to add a category in order to find your page more easily in PUBLITRAC.
5. This section is the body of the landing page. If the body of your landing page already exists in HTML format, you can integrate it directly through copy-paste after clicking on the HTML button in the WYSIWYG editor.  
6. You can choose a custom URL link for the page or keep the title which will appear by default. The preview button allows you to follow the evolution of your creation on an Internet browser.
7. Click on Add test page to carry out A/B tests on the landing page.
8. Click save once everything is done.
