Lists and leads work differently for the deletion or for the reactivation.

A list can be archived but may not be deleted. You can therefore always reactivate a list that you have archived and use it again. When a list is archived, the leads that it contained are not deleted. These leads are still present in your database but are no longer assigned to the archived list. If however you wish to reactivate an archived list, the leads originally contained in this list will be reassigned to it.

The leads may be either removed or deleted from a list, but cannot be archived. A deleted lead is completely removed from the account. Therefore the history of interactions (activities) and all email statistics on this lead will also be deleted from the account. To reactivate a lead, you must either recreate it manually or import it as a new lead. Note that a lead you recreate or import again after a deletion starts back at zero, without any history or statistics since these have also been removed with the original removal of the lead.

Delete a lead

  1. Select Leads, then Leads / Customers.

 


              The screen below appears.

                         

2. Select the Leads tab and click once on the lead to remove the line. Then right-click with your mouse and select Remove in the drop-down menu.

 

 

Archive a list of leads

1. Click Leads, then Leads/Customers.

2. Select the List Management tab. 

The screen below is displayed.

                             

 3. Hover over with your mouse, the list that you want to archive, and options will appear on the right (Rename / Archive). Click Archive.

 

Reactivate an archived list of leads

1. Click Leads, then Leads/Customers.

2. Click view archives.

                         

                   The screen below is displayed.


3.  Hover over with your mouse, the list that you want to reactivate, options will appear on the right (Rename / Reactivate). Click Reactivate.

 

Search for lists of leads

1. Click Leads, then Leads/Customers.

2. Select the Leads tab.

3. Select the list of leads you want in the Choose your list field (the default lists available in PUBLITRAC appear first and the lists you have created manually are displayed below, in the following order: List, Filtered Lists, Segments).See article under 2-Leads, lists and profiling (understand the Leads Details page) for the description of the lists.

                          

 

Search for a lead in particular 

  1. Click Leads, then Leads/Customers. Select the Leads tab.
  2. Select All Leads from the drop-down menu. Select your list.
  3. Type the name, email address, or the attribute (demographic profile,...) that you are looking for in the Search field.
  4. Click on the magnifying glass icon to launch the search, or click on the the 'x' icon to delete the filter.

             

 

 TIPS

  • Sort your leads according to the titles of the columns

    1. Click Leads, then Leads/Customers. Select the Leads tab.

    2. Select All the Leads.

A table showing identification columns (last name, first name, telephone #,...) will allow you to sort your list according to the identification of the column.

            

3. Hover your mouse on the title of the column (in this example: email )).
4. Click on the arrow icon to open the menu to sort data. Then select the desired sorting.
