For this to happen, de-activate the current campaign, clone it and rename for the current year (employee birthdays 2016-2017, for example). The campaign is on a filtered list so there is no need to change the list on which the campaign rolling.
- Set up your birthday campaign in the two languages (EN and FR). First, choose what the default sending language will be. Let's go with the default English for our example.
1. On the Automation tab, start your decision tree by dragging the "lead field {x} equal {y}".
2. Choose the field "Display language" equal "English". In this way, if a lead is English, he will receive an English email. If his language field is empty or indicates French, he will receive the French email. The reverse logic applies for a default French language.
3. Click OK.
4. For the YES flow, if the lead’s language is English, we send the English birthday email. For the NO flow, if the lead’s language is French or the language field is blank, therefore unknown, we send the French email.
