TIPS

Google Search Results :

Google has 3 different sources to look at for reports, depending on the Google product you are working with.
  • SEO : Google Analytics
  • SEM : Google Ads
  • Google Business Profile (or Google My Business) : GMB Insights
What you will find in LOCALTRAC are the GMB Insights in regards to the Google Business Profile pages.
GMB Insights will show 3 key statistics: Actions, Searches and Views.
  • Actions on your Google My Business pages
    • Calls
    • Requests for direction
    • Visits to your website

  • Searches that brought an action or a view on your pages
    • Direct searches (business name part of the keywords used to find you)
    • Discovery searches (business name is not a part of the keywords used to find your page, this is a search that brought results from a generic search). The more trust Google has in your pages, the more you will get discovery searches.
