Google My Business Posts
This article will show you how to manage your published posts or create new Posts to publish.
How to access Google Posts in LOCALTRAC?
- From the left menu in the Tools section, select Google Posts.
How to create a new Post?
- In order to add a new Post, click on the ADD tab, in green on the image below.
- Select the type of Post you wish to publish.

- Offer
- Fill the requested fields.
For the image, you must use an image in the 4:3 ratio. So go with 400X300px or 1200X900px for example. - Select the language and publication date for your Post. If you wish to publish an English and a French post, those will need to be done separately.
- Click on Edit selected locations to select the locations where your Post will be published.
- Select your locations by clicking on the + or by clicking on Select All if you wish to publish to all your locations.
- Click on Save to keep your selection.
- The selected locations will be displayed under the Edit selected locations link.
- Click on Preview to see your Post before saving it. Click on OK if it is ok for publication.
- Click on Save to publish your Post at the selected date.
How to manage your existing Posts?
- On the left tab, select your Post type or All to display all your Posts.
- From the 3 dot menu at the right end side of the Post you wish to modify, select if you wish to Edit or Delete your Post.
- The Edit mode will open your Post so you can modify the content, location selection or publication date. Once corrected, you can once again select Preview to validate and then Save to publish.
Make sure you are following Google's Posts Content Policy.
